The newest beer in the Barista Series is here just in time for the holidays. Barista’s Naughty Nog is an egg nog latte inspired brown ale. We started with our brown ale base recipe and added a healthy dose of lactose to give the beer a sweet, smooth mouthfeel. Once the brew was fermented we flavored it with Lineage Coffee Roasters Modern American espresso blend, nutmeg, and vanilla. The last step was to rest one third of the batch in bourbon barrels and serve it on our nitro tap. The result is a creamy, coffee brown ale with hints of spiked egg nog guaranteed to be one of your favorite beers this holiday season.
