Brewed with Honeybell tangelos, coriander, paradise seeds.

Honeybell Wit is a traditional Belgian style witbier brewed with 40 pounds of the highly sought after honeybell tangelo. In addition to honeybell, we also included coriander, and paradise seeds to make a well balanced beer with spicy black pepper notes and a soothing citrus character that is sure to quench your thirst on a warm, spring, Florida day. This will only come out once a year, so come and get a glass now.

Look: Slightly hazy pale yellow, like a white wine, with lots of rising bubbles. Two fingers of thick white head with decent retention.

Smell: The classic scent of a witbier, with wheat malt and a slight yeastiness, along with noticeable coriander, orange peel, and honey sweetness.

Taste: Very mild. Sweet wheat malt, with some orange and light sugar. Very abrupt and clean finish. No hops noticeable.

Mouthfeel: A little thin, with high carbonation.

Overall: A decent summer sipper that could use some more boldness to reach its full potential.

Poured into a wit glass. Looks like orange crush-cloudy, orange, bubbly with serious head at the beginning but it quickly disappears completely. Normal wit scent that's joined with mild honey and sweet orange. Orange flavor is prevalent on the taste-the sweetness and tanginess overpower the normal Belgian wit flavor. Smooth feel, nice summer sipper.

Poured from a 16 oz. can into a Snorkel glass.

Appearance: Golden orange body with a fizzy bubbly head that dissipates quickly leaving no lacing.

Aroma: Definitely get that coriander and dry biscuit-like maltiness in the nose. Hints of orange and citrus.

Taste/Mouthfeel: Coriander and orange with a honey finish. Super easy drinker, but has a fairly full mouthfeel.

Overall: A really tasty witbier. Easy to drink and full of flavor. Digging this one a lot.

Definitely a summer beer. Light feel, but with a spicy taste. You can taste the coriander and citrus, which takes this light beer to a nice finish.
