Our flagship New England style Double IPA brewed with a massive amount of orange blossom honey produced by two million hard working bees. Grounded in a foundation of our favorite English heritage malt, and intensively hopped, then double dry hopped, each glass greets you with pungent tropical fruit and hints of resinous pine, balanced by sweet robust malt, and a beautiful silky texture. Packed full of flavor, but deliciously drinkable, this is the perfect DIPA to create a buzz in any crowd.

Hourglass Brewing updated the packaging for this DIPA - it’s now just “2 Million Bees”, the 16 oz can is dark blue with green leaves and lots of yellow bees.
This is a double dry hopped NEIPA with orange blossom honey. 8.2% ABV.
Look - Beautiful pour! Honey colored brew with a dense pure white head.
Smell - it’s an aroma really - is honey and light hop. Definately a little malt too!
Feel - excellent carbonation, the bubbles continue to rise. Smooth!
Taste - takes a sec after the drink for all the nuances and complexities come out; honey of course, but beautiful hop notes that are complimentary but not overly piney, light malt, citrus without being citrus-y.,. good balance.
Overall - We get fresh Florida beer here in SoFlorida. This tastes like a draft freshly pulled.
Really nice IPA - I could drink these all day!

Enjoyed a small draft pour in a tulip glass, deep golden color. Low carbonation, hint of sweet honey up front. Fresh, delicate scent. Had a pleasant, full hoppy mouth feel and finish. Not too bitter, and very drinkable for a high ABV of over 8% as advertised. I usually avoid the doubles with high ABV'S, but I really enjoyed this one. I will keep an eye on this Orlando brewer, and keep trying their new ones!

I like the can art, great use of color. The pour is honey colored. There is no date on the can. The taste is honey, soft floral, with a touch of hops. This is easy drinking for an 8% IPA may I add. I would have gave this beer a higher score if I saw a canned on date on the bottom of the can. Cheers! B

I tend to not rate bad beers so here comes a rating. Pours honey you can't see through this beer. Says it's American IPA but looks English to me. Smells like it looks. Thick. Doesn't taste as thick as it looks. Evens out more like an American IPA. Trickery! This is a very good beer.

I saw this was recently released in 16 oz cans so I swarmed on (2) cold 4 pks. of "2 Million Bees and Some Hops" direct from the hive @ Hourglass Brewing in Longwood, Florida ...I am buzzing on this first beer and ready to pollinate another one! :)
