Look: Slightly cloudy light brown when held up to the light, reverting to cola black on a table. Slightly over a finger of fizzy off-white head that disappears in seconds.
Smell: Spicy dried fruit, with a hint of alcohol.
Taste: Generally sweet, a little metallic, with a dried plum note. Mild earthy hop flavor but almost no bitterness. A mild alcohol flavor at the end.
Mouthfeel: Full and smooth, with decent carbonation.
Overall: A decent attempt at a dubbel, but struggles to compete with serious Belgian breweries.
