Had on tap at the pub
A traditional carbonation ale a nice fine 1 for ger khaki head was present on arrival with a slow dissipation. Body is a dark reddish brown verging on black. Nothing can be seen through the beer. Some very nice lacing is left.
Aroma is a nutty brown Aroma similar to their cask brown, with less yeasty esters. Some light roast black coffee notes are present but compared to a stout this is quite bright. Some British figgy esters from the British ale yeast are present.
Taste has some dark malty sweetness but the yeast at least in this batch imparted a light yeasty almost lager like tartness onto the taste of this beet. For the ABV it is bit more forgiving as this is a lighter offering from them but it's still a dark beer. Other than that the flavor is quite nice, nutty and dark, for a traditional scotch ale.
The feel is almost like a nitro beer with quite light carbonation, however I think this beer is carbonated as opposed to cask conditioned. Very smooth and soft, but despite the lower abv this beer feels big. A long finish and the malts are quite mouth coating.
Overall an enjoyable and traditional feeling scotch ale with a lower abv. Quite nutty with big roasyt notes, but a lower bitterness. Very soft and drinkable beer.

this is a clever one, just like all the single malts they have at pints, this thing is loaded with peat smoked character and rich grain depth, while staying dry, full bodied, and the ultimate fall beer. its so dense in flavor, but appears just darker than tarnished copper in the color, lazy bubbly head lingers on. smoke in the nose, with a hint of cocoa and minerals, unique and definitely european with a definite english type ale yeast to it. its so smooth going down and there is a hint of sugar to round it out, i really enjoy the layers of this one. pints pub really impressed me, their beers are all solid, but this may be their most unique in terms of what would stand out from a crowd. one of the more drinkable beers in the style i know of, and nice side by side with a glass of scotch too i imagine, although i didnt treat myself quite that well. next time...

This is a less intense version of a Scottish ale, but it works pretty well. A lot of places tend to go heavier with most of their beers, so it's nice to have a change of pace. It's really smooth, almost like a butterscotch disc candy but without the sweetness. Definitely a good beer to pair with most everything on the menu.

One of the best beers I can remember drinking.
It had a great copper/brown color, one of the deepest colored scottish ales I've ever seen, with nice head and lacing as well.
Good scent, a nice maltiness with good cocoa tones to it.
Excellent taste! A nice malty beer with wonderful chocolate tones, with even a hint of vanilla and butterscotch.
This is also one of the smoothest beers I have ever had, I almost drank the whole pint in two takes.

I had the Gael Force Ale on tap. The aroma was a beautiful floral smell. The color is walnut brown with a cream head. The head wasn't big but had good retention. The taste was nutty and sweet. But it was still clean tasting. There was a hint of butterscotch. It had a malty nutty flavor. Overall very excellent, the waitress recommended it and said that no one had ever complained about it, I can see why. I could imbibe many of these.
