This is a really good light blonde ale. Most of their food pairs better with the darker/heavier beers, but I wouldn't complain if I ordered this one and then decided to eat as well. It's just a little bit fruity, but not in a very sweet way, almost like a very mild sweet and sour. I hope they still make this one, as it's been a while since I've been over there.

I promise, you will not know what to make of this beer, but it is worth a try. I don't see it listed at the pub website, nor can I find much information online, but the pub had it on the nitro tap when we visited there on Sept. 1.
It pours with a huge fluffy nitro head that lasts forever and provides great lacing. There is a faint honey on aroma. The flavor is huge and entirely surprising, a vast sour lemony flavor that is offputting at first but will grow on you. The mouthfeel is creamy and clings and emphasizes the sour notes. The effect is more like a like a lambic or kreik than any kind of conventional Blonde Ale.
