On sale at my local Grocery Outlet and nearing its "expiration" date, I thought I'd give it a try since I wasn't familiar with this brewery. I poured a 22 oz bottle into chilled glass mug. Deep amber colour with a root beer like floating head. Smells of piney hops and some citrus and slight fruits. Taste has some up front hop bitterness but is brought down nicely with the biscuit and citrus undertastes. Great mouthfeel. Goes down very smooth, but reminds me more of a typical West Coast IPA than double IPA. That being said... Prost!

Opens with an herbal, minty nose with traces of citrus. Pours gold with a very slight chill haze under a rocky 3” rocky foam cap that slowly descends to 1” and provides clingy lace. A light biscuit malt backbone supports melon, citrus, grapefruit and mint flavors that lead to a clean, bitter finish. Creamy, juicy medium body and carbonation.
