Draft at Bier:Thirty. Big, boozy IPA, dark chestnut body, smallish off white head. Booze comes through in aroma, then piney hops, hints of malty nature come in last. Taste also puts the hops way out front, alcohol burn, nice caramelly malts are detected after the burn. Very hoppy, and very boozy, but tasty stuff.

Poured from a growler... Looking forward to this... Northwest IPAs usually do the trick for me....
Citrus rind big time in the aroma department... Orange and grapefruit primarily... Touches of booze here and there... Definitely getting some of that honey as well... Extremely interesting...
Quite balanced... Hops are definitely the main player here but it's not a bomb or anything... Lots of bitterness seems to be offset by the malts used in a pleasant manner... A little more in the flavor department from the hops would be welcome but it's not a deal breaker... Im guessing the honey is muting them a tad... I like this one... Sweetness from the honey with the bitterness from those little green cones...
No hint of the 10% here at all... Easy drinking and smooth...
Nice and fresh from a BA up in
the Pacific NW.. Big thanks for the chance to try this!
