From the 22 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orangey amber with an enthusiastic head and some lacing in the Stella Artois goblet. Spritzy on the tongue with coarse carbonation. Some malty substance in the mouthfeel.
Flavor starts with some sweet malt and evolves into the bitter murk. An interesting but quite bitter brew. Leafy, murky, and dankish if you like that sort of thing. Pleasant aroma of mango is the best feature. Fairly acidic. Putting the cap back on and wondering what I'll mix this with to finish the bottle.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Mild pour, hard to get a head going, medium golden body, soft skin if a head. Faint aroma, piney hops first, caramel malts second. Taste is mildly sweet, mildly bitter, slick mouth feel, oily. Gentle bitterness lingers.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium coppery amber with a one finger white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of solid caramel malt, piney and lightly citrus hops, nice. Flavor is mildly caramel malt, piney and citrus hops, orange citrus, very juicy; finishes with piney and citrus rind hops, lingering exotic Asian citrus fruit flavors. Medium bodied with good carbonation. The aroma seemed to indicate a classic Northwest IPA profile, but the flavor is quite a bit juicier than expected. Moderate alpha hops, and citrus juice flavors seem to dominate the pine and lemon citrus I expected from the aroma. A nice, refreshing, citrus IPA, reminiscent of Backwoods Logyard, which also leans towards orange citrus. Perfect for a mini heat wave here in Seattle.
