Lively appearance with streaming bubbles in the clear golden amber brew, and a sticky fine-grained foam in the Timmermans goblet. Delicious aroma of fresh hay, lime, and a touch of apples. Spritzy and zingy on the tongue, followed by the bitter hops.
Mellow with malt. The rye taste is fairly restrained, but with a good dose of the grainy, spicy flavors that seem to enhance the hoppy bitterness. Overall a highly drinkable and hoppy brew that is a good example of the Rye Ale style. From the 12 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station.

Clear gold with three fingers of white head that lasts about ten minutes. Nice rings of lace as the liquid level drops.
Smell is floral hops with bready malts.
Taste is sweet malts with floral hop. A bit of spice from the rye.
Mouthfeel is light to medium with good carbonation. Finish is lightly sweet with a slight bitterness.
Overall a tasty specialty beer.
