Opened in the spring, 2023, this location, 101 South Street Somerville, replaces their original brewery as all their beers are now brewed here.
This brewpub is on the Somerville/Cambridge line in the newly developed area of Boynton Yards. There are several new glass and steel buildings being built near this recently opened glass and steel building. This place takes up about a third of the building’s footprint plus it has plenty of outdoor seating. This will be a popular hangout once the construction is complete.
There are 8 beers beers on tap (I counted 14 possible taps) along with a brand new beer offered only in a can. You can choose from 3 sizes: 4, 8, and 12 ounces on each of the tap options. Today there was a decent diversity in the 9 total choices although there was only one dark (a Stout) option. The Beer-keep was knowledgeable and very attentive.
The food was offered from a separate sub and pizza vendor (Johnny Pomodoro out of Charlestown). The food while predictable was very good.
