Pours a dark brown, almost jet black. Smells of bitter dark chocolate, black coffee, and toasted oatmeal. Taste reflects the smell with a large oatmeal presence with chocolate and coffee undertones. Feel is thick and chewy, which works with the flavor profile. Overall this is a pretty good imperial oatmeal stout.
