Claremont Craft Ales

Pours a clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the Zundert snifter. Big aroma of canned peaches and orange peel. Rather sweet to start. Hop flavors tend toward the big fruit with plum and orange marmalade. Quite bitter after a few sips, which is the main fault with this. Certainly bold and interesting flavors, though, but they lost me at the endless grapefruit pith. Hot tasting and salivating from the bitter and sharp finish. A noble effort but I have had so many IPAs lately from brewers that don't have to hammer the hops in. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea Brewing. Dated 11-Dec-2024.
