crazy beer right here, brewed with trinidad scorpion peppers and ghost chilies, two of the hottest in the world. the beer has a lot of pepper flavor and heat, i think i can tell that these have cool flavor aside from just their heat too, so nice job there, but its a weird choice to try to showcase these in a sour sort of base beer. its lemony and acidic and thin, and doesnt seem at all the right base beer for these peppers, at least to me. notes of sweet jam in here too, something near a seven or an eight on the heat scale, hot in the throat going down, but not brutal for very long thankfully. i very much am not a chili beer person, but i can appreciate the peppers in this for sure. notes of orange and stale grain at the end sort of balance the hotness. some ambitious beers these guys make, and this is nowhere near their best, but definitely something worth trying for the pepper beer freaks out there, this one is decidedly different from any i have ever had in the style. one small glass still felt like a lot of this.

Hearts overwhelms everything, which is unfortunate since there's a sour with a nice jammy apricot and white grape sour underneath. It's a unique drink, and even though it's remarkably hot, it's not undrinkable. Doubt I'll finish the bottle, though.

Tasted like a fruit beer. Another CIB screw-up.

Served in a becker pint.
Orange to amber body on this CIB offering, with no head whatsoever. This beast of a beer destroys everything apparently.
Whoa boy... Not a good "whoa" either. VERY first thought: the scent of finger paints from when I was a little kid. I am wondering after this first whiff, if I actually ingest this, will all of my memories up until I was in Kindergarten, painting away, be erased? Weird! Awful! Next couple of timid fly-by's intimate spoiled vegetables, vinegar, brine. And paint thinner.
I do not know what I was expecting... Again, it is like I was doodling away, making those awesome turkeys by just placing your palm down on paper with brown paint, and I decided to shove my fingers in my mouth for some reason. This beer tastes bad. Maybe some green pepper or tomato in here as well, but the dominate flavor is paint / paint thinner. I am a little offended it does not even have the courtesy to be spicy. I was waiting at least for that, but this cruel joke, like seeing Charlie Sheen live on tour, just keeps getting worse and worse.
Feel is whatever at this point. A little on the thin side? Slick? What does it matter. This is not even technically a food item.
AWFUL! Just plain bad. I am happy I remembered how sweet it was to finger paint turkeys for Thanksgiving, but Jesus... At what cost? This is literally, metaphorically, and metaphysically the worst tasting beer I have ever had.

Cloudy amber body with no head. Dark fruit, flowers, grass, sour citrus aroma, actually good but doesn't accurately forbode what follows. Initially I am getting meat, spices you would use on meat, some herbs, and even some strawberry for dark fruit but the finish has a lot if chills as advertised with Trinidad scorpion chilis added. This one is just hard to describe as you want to swallow or spot it out as fast as possible. Overall it's simple terrible and ruins your palate for hours. Thick body and light to moderate carbonation.
