Virtually no head. Cloudy brown.
Smells like citrus fruit.
Very tart! Like lemonade with a kick. Only near the end of the beer did I taste some beer-like maltyness.
Light to medium body with a bit of carbonation. (why no head?).
I could easily drink another but I'll save my beer quota for something I like better.

I'm rating this beer lower than my personal taste would have me do so. It tastes pretty damn good -- but a little unusual. And I never knew why until today.
They don't *make* this beer. They *mix* it.
I'd had it before, so I didn't let the fact that they literally pour some of the hefe and then top it off with some of the schwartzbier discourage me from having it yet again. And I really do enjoy the taste -- but it's just off a little bit. Not quite what I'd expect from a beer labeled "dunkelweizen." But anyhow, it's not bad. The mixing takes a little off the head, and the aroma suffers. Smells largely of bakery, banana, and cloves -- with just a hint of sugar. Flavor is more or less a subdued hefe taste. The banana flavor gets beat back a little bit which may improve the drinkability for some. It's an exceptionally smooth beer.
