On tap at Fairport Brewing Company in Fairport, NY.
Pours a dark, almost opaque copper color, with a half inch head, and a little bit of lacing down the glass.
Smells like grassy, slightly fruity hops, with some biscuity malt.
The taste is similar, very well balanced, probably the best beer I've had from Fairport Brewing. The malt and hops play well together, some breadiness from the malts, slightly crackery, with some caramel flavors, and very mild bitterness, with grassy and floral hop flavors. The English yeast (at least I assumed they some sort of English yeast) seems to give the beer a slightly dark fruity flavor.
Medium bodied, very crisp and drinkable. Medium carbonation.
Definitely a solid beer here.
