First off, this is not a NEIPA by any means. It is not citrusy, or tropical, or fruity. It is not hazy/cloudy, and it does not have that smooth and/or thick mouth feel a good NEIPA has.
The issue is, its not a good IPA at all. Its bitter in a bad way, and its very watery. It tastes like a harsh Sprite or something. I am trying to push through the glass as I type this.
Overall, do not buy this beer. If its free, it wouldn't be bad, but $4-5 a can is crazy for this beer.

On tap at Blu Wolf Bistro in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a super ugly murky chicken soup looking orange, with a small head, and a good amount of lacing.
This smells like sweet grapefruit, pineapple, and orange juice.
This is not too bad, and it's certainly their best beer yet. However, it also represents nearly everything I hate lately with IPAs. I don't mind hazy beers but this is just absurdly ugly looking, it looks like gravy or soup. It's basically entirely juice with no complexities. It tastes good, but it just tastes like a fruited cream ale, basically. It lacks finesse or subtlety.
This is medium bodied, kinda grainy and muddled feeling, with a low-ish level of carbonation.
This is definitely not my thing. I can appreciate the effort but it needs work.

Decent look, bland smell, no real overall taste, and overall another poor attempt at a Finger Lakes region "NE IPA."

They definitely nailed the hazy orange juice look of a NE IPA. Flavor is heavy on grapefruit with some piney resin. Excellent beer overall but not quite as amazing as I had hoped (perhaps unrealistically) based on looks and name alone.
