Bottled, poured into a conical pint glass at the Fayrer Garden House Hotel, Cumbria.
Light amber with a healthy but not excessive dose of carbonation. Fresh orangey aroma and a crisp, citrusy bitter sweet flavour that lingers just long enough. Finishes slightly dry with some slightly bitter hop earthiness.
A really pleasant IPA that asks to be drunk again. I was surprised to see it clock in at 6%, I didn't pick up any trace of alcohol whatsoever.
Well worth seeking out, the only downside for me was that it wasn't available on cask to compare where I tried it.

On gravity at the Belfast Beer Festival, 2012.
Pale amber with off white froth.
Mango and candied orange nose with resiny funk.
Toffee and more mango with citrus and skunk hops.
Grapefruit peel finish and bitter rind linger. Medium to full, oily and chewy.
Maris Otter with Mount Hood, Challenger, Golding and Amarillo hops
Big! Serious fresh hops hit with crazy tropical fruit but the malts to back it up. Beer of the festival in my book.
