Appearance This one was dark yellow in color with some nice orange tints and gave off a big, gorgeous head right out of the growler.
Smell This Lager is expertly balanced with mild, lovely hops and grainy malt. The grain especially is exceptional.
Taste The folks at Alameda did an amazing job on the grain. This is a lesson for macro makers. The complex floral and citrus flavors were terrific as well.
Mouthfeel This one is light to medium-bodied and brilliantly balanced.
Drinkability Incredible! This took me back to Germany. It was a direct hit on the style and one of the finest Lagers Ive had here in the US.
Comments Skyhand and pappa Skyhand were nice enough to share some of this with me before heading out to Safeco Field to watch the Mariners lose. Sad day for baseball in the NW; great day for beer!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
