I've had this IPA on draft twice thus far; once at the Nail Creek Pub, and once at The Green Onion, both in Utica, NY. The color has a slightly hazy, deep honey hue, and the aroma is of sharp citrus, dryish malt. Mouthfeel is of medium body, with an overall fresh, crisp, yet full flavored drinking experience. The hop content is consistent with the aroma, being of a strong citrus blast, along with a sharp pineapple, grapefruit finish in the swallow.
The only knock, and this has been the case at both aforementioned establishments, is that the last flavor note you get is that of subtle oxidation, a plastic type taste. Because these kegs came in fresh to both pubs, and were put up on the pipes nearly instantly, this oxidation type note was not the result of long cellaring, rather probably a function of fermentation, or packaging. Then again, maybe it's just part of the beers character, but there is a "something" going on there in the end that only mini-detracts from what is a very good west coast style IPA. Kind of reminds me of Green Flash West Coast IPA, which is a huge compliment. Would have scored higher if not for the perceived oxidation note.

Had on tap at blind tiger- this is excellent. Pours a clear golden color with a finger of head, modest retention and lacing.
Smells great- big earthy hops and a little grain.
Tastes the same- great bitterness and earthy and citrusy hops with a nice malt backbone.
Mouthfeel is good- medium light body, well carbonated, long bitter finish. This is a good one- I'd never heard of this brewery but will be keeping my eyes peeled.

On tap at the Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
Pours a clear amber orange, with a one inch head, and ample webby lacing on the glass.
Smells like intense pine, grapefruit, and some bready malt.
This is one bitter mofo of an IPA. Tastes include honey coated grapefruit, candied pineapple, bready and caramelly malt, bitter pine resin, lemon, and other citrus fruits.
This one has a typical great mouthfeel for an IPA, crisp and smooth, slightly biting, with a medium amount of carbonation. Very, very drinkable.
My first introduction to hoppy beer made by Rushing Duck, this just makes me want to try War Elephant even more.
