This ale is a collaboration among Rushing Duck, Finback Brewing, and City Beer Hall. I had it on draught at the brewery. 12 oz. pour served in a tulip glass. It pours a turbid, yellow-orange. I think it's the murkiest Belgian Pale Ale I've ever seen. It had virtually no head or lacing. Its appearance was really unusual. It is very fragrant with a big aroma of banana, clove, coriander, and a whiff of tobacco. This ale is very fruity and you can taste the bonana, raisin, pear, clove, coriander, pepper, and Belgian yeast. The flavors blend very well and produce a very flavorful experience. It's almost chewy in its mouth feel, with lively carbonation, and its 8.6% ABV gives it lots of heft. It doesn't taste boozy but it catches up with you! Overall, this is a really nice take on the style: it's well-crafted, flavorful, and fun to drink.
