I had this on draught in the brewery. 12 oz. pour served in a tulip glass. It poured an opaque dirty apricot color with a milk-white head and lacing that coated the glass and retained its character through the pour. It smells of pineapple, lemon peel, and mosaic hops. The taste is fruity, with pineapple, lemon, grapefruit. It is quite sour and bitter at the finish. You can really taste the Mosaic hops. This ale features lively carbonation, and is crisp, bitter, and refreshing, and the 7.1% ABV is barely noticeable. Overall, the Brettanomyces gives it a unique flavor. It is thoroughly satisfying and another well-conceived and well-crafted beer from Rushing Duck.
