Approximately one month old. I removed from the fridge 30 minutes before pouring into a Rushing Duck Belgian glass. It pours a cloudy brown with hues ranging from orange to ruby when held to the light. There is almost no head or lacing. It has a delightful nose featuring honey, caramel, raisin, brown sugar, graham cracker, and lots of bourbon. It's extremely fragrant. It's incredibly boozy with a strong alcohol burn. The honey and caramel then melt in your mouth. The heat is at the opening and it finishes more mellow with the graham cracker. There is also a subtle but discernible dark fruit taste. I can't imagine another beer that is this close to drinking Drambuie. It's perfect for sipping in front of a fire after a fine meal. It's an elegant and delicious English Barleywine; one of the best I've ever had of one of my favorite styles. I've rated it close to Sucaba. This is great way to celebrate Rushing Duck's 5th Anniversary. Just superb!
