Those new EQ brews up the street are getting all the love of late, but don't be lazy and make that 15 minute drive. Delicious tropic notes, yet it's refreshingly bitter. The mango tastes woody, and is delightfully green and grassy. Plantains also comes to mind. Lime-pineapple-passionfruit-orange slush. A nice tart and semi-juicy libation.

I had this on draught at the brewery. 12 oz. pour served in a tulip glass. It pours an opaque, dirty tangerine color with a thin, milk-white head and minimal lacing that dissipated quickly. It features a really pleasant aroma of mango puree, lemon, caramel, and light floral hops. The flavors are big and bold: lots of mango up front with hints of lemon peel, banana, and grass. The mango is not overly sweet and it finishes surprisingly bitter. Its mouth feel is very pleasant: lively carbonation, crisp and clean, and easy to drink with a moderate 6.3% ABV. Overall, this is a nicely crafted APA with great balance between flavorful - but not overly sweet - tropical fruit and bitter hops. The menu says it's experimental. I hope Rushing Duck brews it again.
