I had this on draught at the brewery. 16 oz. pour served in a tulip glass. It pours a cloudy, golden-orange with a fluffy, bright white head and extensive lacing; it's a really attractive pour. There's not much on the nose: cracker, grass, and very light citrus. The flavor, however, is really interesting and enjoyable: the base of pilsner malt dominates but there also cracker and grass and subtle lemon and grapefruit. As the glass warms, I noticed a hint of caramel at the finish. There is little bitterness. This ale has a medium body with moderate carbonation, and at 6.8% ABV it has character but isn't overpowering. The combination of Jarrylo and Simcoe hops is intriguing and this DBZ variant is a nice change of pace. I'm hoping that Rushing Duck cans it.
