Pint pour at the brewery. It pours a murky, turbid brown color with orange hues, and a thin, ecru-colored head that dissipated slowly leaving a thin coating of creamy lacing. It's a unique color. There's not much on the nose: mostly sweet malt and light floral hops. The taste opens drier and hoppier than I anticipated with a moderately bitter blend of Simcoe and Azacca hops. The malt backbone is only mildly sweet and it finishes with a subtle bitteness. This ale is medium-bodied and fairly creamy, with moderate carbonation. It's easily drinkable with an ABV of 6.5%. Overall, this is an interesting brew: I thought it would be more sweet and malty but it's quite dry and bitter. It paired well with hot dogs and chips.
