I should have known this was not a traditional Kolsch by it's name.
L: It poured an extremely has yellow orange. I asked the bartender, "What kind of Kolsch is this? " It apprently is dry hopped with a few different hops.
S: Floral, a little citrus.
T: A little floral, some citrus and pine. Quite bitter.
F: Medium body, moderate carbonation. Slightly chewy. Not what one's looking for in a kolsch.
O: This is not a bad beer, it's actually quite good (if it were an ipa). But after sittiing out in the sun and the humidity a traditional Kolsch is what I was after. A crisp, clean thirst quencher. This is not it. It's more of an IPA or Pale Ale.
