Pours a hazy yellow with a finger of white head.
Smells of Citra dominate, grapefruit, a little dankness. Also some earthy notes.
Taste on this one starts with citrus, grapefruit, lemon, a hint of lime. Mid palette I get more earthy hop tastes, some dank resinous notes. Finishes with a lingering pithy bitterness.
Smooth easy to drink, good carb levels.
Overall a dangerous beer for 9+%. There was a hint of alcohol on the nose as it warmed but it never surfaced in the taste.

Canned on 12/12/2018. Poured into Rushing Duck Belgian glass. It pours an opaque, dirty gold color with almost a finger of foamy, bright white head and creamy lacing. The aromatic nose features lemon peel, tangerine, grapefruit, and fragrant floral hops. Just delicious! It opens with fairly tart citrus and melon but there is also a creamy vanilla sweetness. None of the advertising indicates that lactose is used so the taste must come from the Pilsener malt and from the Motueka hops. The Motueka, Citra, and Mosaic are highly flavorful but delicate, without overt bitterness. This ale is super plush and creamy with moderate carbonation. I think the expression that an ABV is "dangerous" is overused (including by me) but here it really applies. It's so easy to drink that you don't notice the 9.1% until the second pour when it hits you hard. This is really superb stuff; it's a much bigger beer than Divided by Zero but everything works. Try it if you can!

Poured from a can that was canned 2 days ago.
Pours a light yellow haze. Smells of grapefruit and oranges. Taste has a bit more bitter edge than I expected. Plenty of grapefruit rind. A little bit hot because of the 9%. Another great beer from RD.
