This one-off is a new experimental IPA. All Citra in the hot side it is then dry-hopped with Simcoe, Azacca, & Citra. Smooth and juicy with notes of stone fruit up front and pine in the back. Just the right amount of balancing bitterness.

Pint on draught at the brewery. It pours a hazy, bright lemon-orange color with a half finger of creamy, bright white head and extensive, soapy lacing. The smell is a little subdued. There is lemon peel, a whiff of tangerine, yeast, and sweet malt. It's taste opens dry and tart with moderately bitter lemon and grapefruit rind, along with resinous pine. This beer is all Citra which accounts for the citrus and provides a bitter bite particularly at the finish. The feel is rich and creamy with a pleasant level of carbonation, and the pint goes down easily at 6.9% ABV. Overall, this is a really tasty, albeit somewhat one-dimensional NEIPA. For a lesser brewer this would be a tour de force but I'm spoiled when it comes to Rushing Duck.
