As the weather starts to get cooler, and daylight hours shorter, our tastes in IPA shift from light and sessionable to something with a little more oomph. This IPA is made with Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic, and Azacca hops. The nose is floral and lightly fruity with notes of raw hemp. The taste leans toward bright fresh pear, pine, and white wine with undertones of tropical fruit and honeydew melon.

Crowler from Oliver's Beverage in Albany, NY.

This one pours a hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like light tropical fruit, grassiness, grapefruit, and marijuana.

This is a nice older-school take on an IPA here, with lots of weed, grapefruit, and grassiness, with a bit of peach and tropical fruit type flavors as well.

This is light bodied, clean, and very drinkable.

I haven't had much from Rushing Duck lately - it's cool to see that they're still doing pretty well.

On draught at the brewery. It pours a hazy, golden yellow color with orange hues, and a thick, creamy milk-white head and lacing that lasted through the pour. The smell features grapefruit, lemon, tangerine, and pine needles. It's fresh and fragrant. The taste opens with tart grapefruit rind and lemon peel with just a hint of pineapple and tangerine sweetness. Towards the finish there are notes of white wine grape. It's quite dank. The Citra and Mosaic hops furnish the citrus taste while the Simcoe adds pine and the Azacca adds bitterness. The balance between fruit and bitterness is excellent. Its taste is just outstanding. Four such a flavorful American IPA it's surprisingly lite and delicate. It has lively carbonation but is an easy drinker at 6.9% ABV. Overall, Fleeting Hours is simply outstanding! It's an under the radar IPA that competes with the leaders of the style. If it were canned and decently distributed, it would be acclaimed!

A: Sunflower gold, hints of honey. Pure white head. Creamy, thick and durable.

S: Spice, citrus, dank grain. Pear forward rose. As it warms, more sweetness shows. It's kinda like these hop flavored lozenges I bought.

M: Med bodied with a matching med-light feel. Crisp, refreshing level of carb.

T: Raw hemp gives a nutty and green grass maltiness that really shines. Balanced with 4 hop varietals that feature pear, pine, concentrated spiciness, pomelo. Tropical yellow skinned fruit, starfruit, kiss of melon. Semi-sweet but surely some citrus tang in the finish.
