A newer project, this is where we get creative. Rushing Duck "Research and Development" will typically be a single-hopped pale ale, but that's where the similarities between batches ends. This is hopped with Vic Secret.

Pint on draught at the brewery. It pours a turbid, dirty tangerine color with a half finger of creamy, bright white head and a thick coating of lacing. A very attractive pour. The smell is primarily lemon and lime, onion, and floral hops. Its taste opens with dry, tart lemon, earthy , crackery malt, and pine needles. As the glass warms there are additional notes of pineapple and melon. The mouthfeel is super crisp and lite with a pleasant level of carbonation, and it drinks easily with its 6.7% ABV. Overall, this is a flavorful, highly drinkable addition to the RD R&D series. My only qualm is that the tropical notes normally associated with Vic Secret hops did not shine more.
