A German WeizenBock with characteristics of a Dark Hefeweizen. Drinks smooth with fall flavors, apple, raisin and banana bread while still finishing dry.

Pint pour on draught at the brewery. Served in a shaker glass. It pours a cloudy, muddy orange-brown color with a half finger of creamy, pale khaki head which dissipated quickly leaving modest lacing. On the nose there is smoky malt, raisin, plum, tobacco, and a whiff of citrus. The flavor opens mostly fruity with raisin, plum, and apple, along with clove and earthy, sweet malt and tobacco. There is just a touch of hop bitterness. It's refreshing. The mouth feel is creamy with pleasant carbonation, and it drinks very easily for 7.4% ABV. Overall, this is a very nice offering and kudos to Rushing Duck for brewing this rather obscure style.
