An Imperial Red IPA that has been hopped with Centennial Cryo, Citra and El Dorado. Deliciously dank and resinous with a subtle pineapple finish.

Poured from fresh crowler into a shaker glass. It pours a lovely, clear, amber-orange with a thick, creamy, ecru-colored head and copious thick, soapy lacing. It's a very attractive pour. On the nose is lemon, grapefruit, pine needles, and earthy caramel. The taste is classic for the style, offering a good balance of tart, bitter lemon and grapefruit, resinous pine, tangerine, pineapple, stone fruit, and earthy, woodsy, moderately sweet malt. It becomes sweeter as it warms in the glass. The hop bitterness lasts through the pour. The mouth feel is fairly creamy with pleasant carbonation, and you can feel the 10.2% ABV. This may be the booziest Red Ale I've ever drank. Overall, Angry Red Planet is a terrific Imperial Red IPA. Rushing Duck should brew it annually.
