Visited 11.26.22 with my brother-in-law. Went down for the 5 Phantoms barleywine release. Super unique spot; located in a historic building, intimate with high ceilings, and fermenters are right there in the brewpub. Fairly expansive list of styles, both on tap and available to go. Lots of cool merch for sale as well. Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. Look forward to going back one of these days!

In a corner building that was a bank built in 1888. Nicely painted green and yellow on the ornate gables and sides. Inside is a really small taproom because the named brew tanks take up most of the space. The beer names are hand painted on barrel staves, mounted on a wall rack. The beers are good, not great. Did like the Tramway rye pale ale a good deal, though. There is a dog water bowl out front, because the little former mining town is dog oriented. A small downtown with classic late 1800's brick shops and buildings, which is about 5 blocks long. One dog was wandering downtown and stood in the middle of main street, looking around as a couple vehicles, slowly went around it, then wandered around elsewhere, with a smiley face.

what an interesting brewery and what a curious little town, a really cool stop on our road trip, im glad we went this way after being advised by a group of local fisherman we encountered about an hour away from here who pointed us in this direction. the town comes up out of nowhere, real rural, and there seems to be just one or two intersections and thats it. the brewery is right on the corner, you cant miss it, a neat old building with a lot to look at inside, a few seats outside, an elevated seating area behind the long bar, and the brewery equipment right there when you walk in, vertically oriented. it looks like it used to be an old bank or something, but i didnt get the full story. i was impressed with how many beers they had on tap, lots of choices, and i liked what we had. a clean and simple pils, and a few different saison types, one with honey and one with rye, not life changing, but well executed and hit the spot after a long drive. the crazy thing here is you can leave with your beer and walk around town. ive seen plastic to go cups by the doors of bars in new orleans, but ive never been encouraged to leave with a full glass pint before! pretty neat way to bring the businesses there together. we took our beers and strolled up to a candy shop that looked like a hundred years ago, samples some taffy, and rolled back fifteen minutes later with empty glasses, how cool! the lady behind the bar was really nice and would have let us sample everything on the menu, and this has a real vibrant small town charm to it. the beer was better than these types of spots usually are, and this was an awesome little visit overall, highly recommended. very unique place, solid beers, great times!

This new(ish) and small brewery puts out one of the best all around lineups I have ever had. Go in.Pick a beer. You will enjoy it, without a doubt, depending on your tastes.

One of my favorite places to visit. This is a newer brewery in SW Montana located in one of the neatest small towns. The entire team from the owners down to the mascot (dog) all enjoy doing what they do which is always uplifting. The beers are very good and the atmosphere is a fun time with a big mix of folks. Dog friendly and some live music on occasions too. I always smile when walking in! Also, they recently have expanded by starting a bottling operation.

Stopped here while on Montana Beer Safari a few months ago. Timing couldn't been better as they were celebrating their 1st anniversary. Weather was specatacular...so people were all around outside café style, while also filling the inside of the brew pub. Owner was grilling brats and burgers at a sidewalk grill stand. Ok Ok who couldn't love a day like this...every body was upbeat and there was a wonderful mix of young families, young -mid age singles and couples, and a few 60 somthings like me. Well...the beer was great. Enjoyed all their brews via tastings, but settled down with a pint of their just tapped Apricot IPA. Life is good!
It's off the beaten Interstate track, but the scenic drive and the beautifully restored Victorian age town is worth the trip. Throw in an outstanding new brewery and great team...well, you'll be happy happy. I hear it's especially nice during ski season with a ski lodge right up the road.
