Solid black with a long lasting tan head.
Light carbonation with a slightly thin body but overall a nice feel.
Aroma is malt,licorice, woody,roasted malt,mocha and earthy.
Taste is a little subdued compared to aroma but still very good and complex.
Overall a really nice beer that would look for again

Can to plastic cup...not ideal, but hey...St. Patrick's Parade Day @ JPK's. Aroma Is barley, toast, coffee. Thick syrupy black pour, tan-orange head. Taste is malty, chocolate, coffee. Typical dry stout. A thicker, heavier guinness. Good.

draft at wholefoods corner table, union nj.
close to the worst ever...
aroma - wet cigar butt, cardboard, some slight hop aroma. Astringent, bitter.
appearance - thin dark brown head, cloudy brown like water running off mud.
flavor - tobacco' bitter, astringent, metallic, lingering metal and bitterness.
feel - medium light body, with astringent bitterness, biting.
overall - bad experience. Dumped taster. They shouldn't sell this one. Can't fond anything constructive except to fix the obvious flaws in the brewing process.

Dark brown body with Coca-Cola highlights. Half of the glass is dense level medium tan foam. Nice Irish lace.
Deep roast aroma. Inviting and appealing.
Taste is all deep roast coffee with and earthy and bitter hop bite.
Mouthfeel is a little too thin, could use some chewiness or smoothness.
Okay, will probably try again, but not a must have at this point.

Bland and overly bitter with no chocolate or pleasant roasted quality, as there should be in a dry stout. These guys continue to disappoint.
