Palm trees, sunsets, and sandy shores bring to mind one of our favorite summer adult beverages. Sipping drinks on island beaches with a cool frozen pina colada are what summer is all about to us. This coconut pineapple cocktail inspired us to create one of our most unique summer brews. Heavily wheated session dusted with milk sugar then dosed with a whole lot of Citra and Mosaic before being conditioned atop coconut, pineapple and vanilla - If you like getting caught in the rain then this is the summer jam for you!

Pours a fairly light yellow, ample foamy white head. Nice pineapple aroma. Flavor is a nice mix of coconut, pineapple, and vanilla. Good job at the PIna colada beer, glad it wasn’t an ipa.. Glad I tried it, might buy again.

Around medium carbonation with about the same for the body
Aroma is lime peel and fruit, earthy bitter hops, coconut, pineapple with a little wheat
Taste is very similar with it being less bitter and more sweet than aroma hints at. Does have a mild lingering bitterness but nothing extreme
Not tropical beer without tasting artificial and the base beer is nice and easy to find

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color and poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a short head covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of coconuts are present in the nose along with notes of pineapples and limes.
T: The taste follows the smell and starts off with lots of initial flavors of coconuts and notes of sweetness from the milk sugars along with hints of limes and pineapples.
M: It feels medium-bodied and smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This makes for a nice tropical summer drink but its balance is somewhat off for a piña colada, having more pineapples than coconuts, but is enjoyable if you like coconuts and something that is a little sweet.

perfect find for my daughters' 5th/8th birthday party. A hawaiian/moana theme. Exceited to see that the canning date was 5/16/18, so just 72 hours old upon drinking.

LOOK: hazy yellow, no head. evidence of suspended bubbles that just do not make to the surface to form a head.
AROMA: lime, coconut, pineapple, orange.
TASTE: smooth tropical and citrus fruits. Truly Pina colada in a beer. A bit of a dry hoppy aftertaste.
FEEL: juicy/acidic with a dry finish. Medium bodied, easy drinking. Light to medium carbonation.

Very tasty. I am a big fan of the PIna Colada; so the flavor profile is right for me. Glad I got it fresh; I would but more of this if I saw it fresh again.

Can from Johnny Watts, thanks. Hazy lemony yellow with a creamy white head that persists. Big pineapple and vanilla with bits of resinous earthy pine. Different but pretty good.
