Appearance: pours a cloudy orange color with a 1" head. Some lace develops.
Smell: tropical fruits and a hint of earthiness are picked up by the nose.
Taste: caramel, mango, papaya, some bitter grapefruit, and a moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Crisp at the start, less crisp and a touch dry at the finish.
Overall: a decent IPA that leans towards the tropical fruit side.

This is not a good beer. Not sure what happened here maybe something is wrong with it because 005 I really enjoyed. This version has a bizarre bitter (in a bad way) medicinal taste. The smell is very muted. The aftertaste is very unpleasant and there is an artificial sweetness almost like aspartame throughout. nb

Poured a hazy, vibrant orange with 3+ fingers of foamy, slightly rocky white head that just won't go away. Aroma has a lot of tangerine upfront with a hint of sweetness in the background. Flavor has tons of tangerine and other citrus with a lingering artificial sweeteness that sort of spoils my enjoyment of this beer. Medium-ish body and carbonation. I like the tangerine but I don't love the sweetness.

This IPA from Bolero Snort is part of the Rotatabull series which employs different hops for every batch. In this iteration of 006, Azacca and Mandarina Bavaria hops are used, imparting traces of orange, grapefruit, tangerine, apples, pears and other tropical fruits.
At 7% ABV, it’s practically sessionable, and there is a an interesting hint of sweetness to the taste that does not overpower nor become cloying. In all, a sound IPA that should satisfy most lovers of the style. It’s good BS, and that’s not bs.
