Looks like this beer is back. Pours hazy orange with white head. Tastes like orange with some vanilla. Decent beer with full body, but not overly fruity.

Can to Snifter. Canned 2/20/18...so under 3 weeks fresh.
LOOK: hazy orange-yellow color. Large white head that stays respectable and creamy throughout.
AROMA: Orange, Vanilla, cookie dough. Like a creamsicle.
TASTE: Orange and grapefruit upfront. Sappy finish. Small hints of vanilla, but not like the aroma.
FEEL: constant creaminess. Almost full bodied. I want to say not refreshing enough to match the flavor profile.
Another good beer from Bolero Snort; though I liked the similar Strawberry one better.

Traded for this a while back but didn't get around to it until today. This didn't have a date on the can, and it was contract brewed at Double Nickel but thankfully, there wasn't much sediment to the beer as I poured it out. To no one's surprise, this looked, felt and tasted just as I expected it to as it was quite smooth, sweet, and malty...which made this a AAA version of a Tired Hands Milkshake beer.
Not a bad pour to this as the liquid was a muted goldenrod with a nice opaqueness to it. Just a hint of sediment could be seen at the bottom with a nice fluffy head on top and just a bit of rocky foam left along the top and back of my pint glass. Lots of orange cream and vanilla in the nose with more of those in the taste. Some citrus zest and wax could be felt in the taste but overall, this was pretty light and sweet as it mindlessly went down gulp after gulp. Some peach could be felt here which was in line with the sugar and ice cream feel of this beer and of course, discerning any hops was a bit of a challenge.
The amount of alcohol was right on the money as it lent itself to a very mild warming effect to this beer. Once I finished this off, I felt like I had dessert without the accompanying brain freeze. Neither great nor poor, this was worth a go once on a nice, mild evening such as this. I just forgot to have a full dinner first...

Poured from a can into a snifter. Canned 3/2/17.
A: Pours a super hazy, pale orange in color with a one inch, frothy, cream colored head with good retention. Thick, white lacing throughout.
S: Main stage is definitely orange with mellower notes of pineapple, peach, and melons. Very light floral notes.
T: Literally tastes like an orange cream pop. Starts off with a big punch of orange juice and orange rind followed light tropical notes. Cream notes become much more present as the beer warms. Finishes with a light piney, resinous hop bitterness.
F: Medium bodied, smooth, and crisp with light carbonation.
O: Overall, this is a good IPA. They did a great job of mapping the orange cream pop flavors into this beer. Not too sweet or artificial, but present at a nice level. Would definitely try this one again, but would like a fresher can.

Pours a lightly hazy pale orange with a finger of long-lasting white head. Aroma is muted but has a touch of orange, a good amount of vanilla, and a bit of sweetness. Taste hits the same notes as the aroma but with greater intensity; it's sweet with an orange note and a strong vanilla presence. Medium body with moderate carbonation, a touch of syrupy sweetness. Overall I just wasn't a fan of this beer. I keep giving BS opportunities and I find myself unimpressed.

This one is well executed and a lovely blend of flavors. It's definitely an IPA first with full hop flavor led by orange citrus and other light sweet tropical fruits. Faint vanilla in the smell. The vanilla really comes through in the finish which is long and tasty. Great balance between all the elements for a smooth tasty beer that's a bit on the sweeter side of things. yb

16oz can received via the generosity of MacMalt. According to the stamp on the bottom this was canned on March 2, 2017. Would love to know the story behind a brewery calling itself Bolero Snort. A reference to a local bull that snorts in the manner of Maurice Revel? Incidentally, this appears to have been contract brewed by an entity known as Double Nickel Brewing Company in Pennsauken, New Jersey.
Poured into a Kane snifter (again, thanks, MacMalt) , this was a color somewhere between apricot and honey, with an initially big, off-white head. Said head dropped after a few minutes, leaving a thin "beer neglige " style line of lace at the top of the glass.
Big, citrusy hop blast to the nose when sniffing this beer. Both orange (as promised in the name) and grapefruit aromas leap to the fore. The cream portion of the name is not noteworthy here.
The flavor kicks off with a fruity blast to the taste buds. Then the vanilla beans kick in to mellow things. The finish is modestly sweet.
Medium bodied, with a creamier mouthfeel than one might expect to find in an IPA, but it lives up to it's billing.
The label seems to suggest this is modelled on an orange and vanilla popsicle (is that what OV B is in reference to?), but I find it equally similar to the Weinhardt orange cream sodas my Dad used to keep in the fridge before he went super gung-ho on watching his weight. I'm enjoying having one but that would be my limit in a drinking session as it's just too damn sweet for my PNW IPA shaped sensibilities. As a side note, my Dad would probably love this, though he'd undoubtedly scurry off to the gym afterwards. Thanks, MacMalt!
