We stuffed the mash to the brim and dunked a few cookies in the boil of this Imperial Milk + Cookies Stout. Brewed with white chocolate and cocoa and aged on cocoa nibs and Madagascar Vanilla - its drinking the lost cookie at the bottom of your glass of…stout! Get stuffed!

Served in a pint glass from the bottle.

Appearance: Semi thick brown tinted black body with a tan head rising half a finger's length. Subtle bubbles to the body.

Smell: Sweet cane sugar scent.

Taste: sweet sugars accompanied with smooth malts and I feel warm milk sweetness if that's a thing.

Mouth: Malty finish and sticky with a cinnamon spice after taste.

Overall: Good brew. But a touch too sweet for me. Has a sweet malty dessert like taste which makes it super unique. Salud!

DATE: December 24, 2018... OCCASION: a great Christmas eve get-together over, time for the boys to wait for Santa... GLASSWARE: Duvel snifter... pours a jet-black body overpowered by three fingers' worth of thick brown head, clinging staunchly to the glass's side... bold vanilla, white chocolate, licorice, mocha, toffee, and toasted malts... alluring and big as a dessert... its body is creamy, with a whip-smart start at the tongue and a full-bodied, intense heat that reminds with every sip that 9.5% is loaded for bear... boozy and lingering with its port-like finish... a sweet, lactic chocolate profile replete with toasted malts like cookie dough... the hops in this barely suggest citrus, but there is some lemon in the otherwise vanilla, cream and cocoa that drives its profile to a dessert-like quality, big enough to chew on... this one is worthwhile, a sipper with enough vanilla and lactic qualities to fill the experience... I shelve this a year ago and it held up well...

Pours pitch black, minimal kakhi head. This was swerved in a pint glad, so the aroma was hard to detect, but I got a whiff of sweet vanilla and fudge. Very sweet, reminds me of Southern Tier Creme Brûlée. Loads of fudge and Vanilla, like an Oreo cookie, slight bitterness on the finish. Fantastic mouthfeel, very rich and creamy. Overall a fun desert beer, glad I tried it, but a 4 pack would be a bit much.

A liquid double stuffed oreo. Sweetness and strong cocoa flavor from the get-go. White chocolate emerges as beer warms. Generally good, but became cloyingly sweet, so had to rate it down a notch

Poured from undated 750 ML bottle into Bolero Snort all purpose glass. It pours nearly ink black with some dark walnut tones when held to the light, and a huge, fluffy khaki-colored head with excellent retention and elegant lacing. It's a highly attractive pour. The fragrant nose features cocoa, graham cracker, caramel, light coffee, nuts, and just a whiff of tobacco and char. It has the smell of a fine candy bar. The first thing I noticed about the taste is how sweet it is: lots of roasted malt, sweet cocoa, fudge, caramel, graham cracker, and nuts. There is also a delightful hint of dark fruit. It finishes with a touch of bitterness and char. It has a rich, creamy, chewy mouth feel with light to moderate carbonation. While the ABV doesn't seem unreasonably high at 9.5%, it is definitely warming. This stout is a sipper. Overall, this is nice done. It's on the sweet side and best suited as a dessert beer. It would pair nicely with cheese. Bolero Snort is consistent in its inconsistency but this is a fine Imperial Stout.

Pours creamy, dark, almost black. Huge brown head. Aromas are intensely chocolate, sweet and enticing. Big, bold chocolate flavors. Subtle booze with plenty of creamy, rich chocolate. Propert amount of sweetness. Soft, creamy mouthfeel.
