-IIPA with dragonfruit and vanilla.
A: A beautiful and unique almost rose-cranberry like coloring with a slight tan head. A good rush of macro-bubbles pop on the surface.
S: Lemon and citrus juice on the nose, fresh and wet in content. Vanilla bean and breadiness scents with a fruitiness of fresh apples and pears. The strength is good.
T: Semi-dry apples and cherry skins for flavor. Light dryness of grains and citrus hops. Berries and floral notes, bready dry hop finish. Tart fruitiness.
M: Thick and syrupy mouthful, nice heavy and lax feel. Light carbonation. Probably the highlight of the drink is here.
O: Overall didn't pick up to much of the vanilla additions, very limited. Tart and fruity hopped beer with a dry finish. Beautiful unique color, with the mouthful being the strong point of the experience. Strong hoppy character, but a bit limited in range in terms of flavor, not as bright or explosive as the can design. Ok drinkability but didn't have a strong finish for me, but in general still a very good drink when not over analyzing.

Hazy red color with a pink head. Very nice lacing. Lots of bitterness. Didn't pick up much of the fruit or vanilla.
Overall, kind of meh.

2018 Beeradvocate IPA Fest. Looked really crazy. Clear, red! I have no shame; the look gets a 5. Didn't really smell like an IPA to me. I can't really recall specifics. I do remember it being really bitter. Interesting.

A: The beer is clear red in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high light pink head that died down and left a patch of bubbles on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of dragonfruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of dragonfruit along with notes of herbal and spicy hops and subtle bits of vanilla.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: With the flavors of dragonfruit, this beer tastes more like a fruit beer and less like an IPA. It goes down easily and does a good job at masking the alcohol from the taste.
Serving type: can
