First it's sweet...then it's sour! The first entry in our new 5.9% Fruited Sour series. We conditioned this tart and refreshing beer brewed with a varietal of wheats and oats for added body on a ridiculous amount of raspberry puree and lime juice - and of course a few hooves full of one of our favorite candies. Light, tart, and crisp, the perfect way to welcome the warmer weather.

Cool little brew here as it was hinted at being brewed with actual Sour Patch Kids candies.
Appearance is a chill haze of cranberry-esque red and a red-tinted thing film of foam for head.
The aromatics are tart lime, raspberry, and grapefruit.
The flavor comes off as raspberry, lime, and what I believe to be lactic acid notes. Little to no hop nor malt character is apparent. There is also a sweet, sugary candy note that just might be those Sour Patch Kids they alluded to.
Mouthfeel is light with high carbonation, low bitterness but high tartness, and no alcohol character.
Overall a really good sour that I would happily drink again. Hits the style just about right and is crushable. It's Very good and I recommend it but nothing you "have" to have.
