50 years ago we made one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind. To honor that brave and monumental event we're lowering Moooon Walk your way. This IPA was prepped, its mission loaded with Apollo and Falconers Flight hops in the kettle, then blasts off fueled by Galaxy hops for it's journey with some Citra along for the ride.
With essences of tropical citrus, grapefruit, and piney undertones all of our brave travelers will have an exciting journey of their own, and it comes in at 7.20 ABV - the date that changed space exploration forever. Are you ready for your journey to the mooon?

Bolero Snort Brewery "Moooon Walk"
16 fl. oz. can, contract brewed by Wyndridge Farm Brewing, and coded "LIVE FROM STUDIO 69 7/9/19". Sampled on 8/8/19"
$4.29 @ Roger Wilco, Pennsauken, NJ
Notes via stream of consciousness: Well it's definitely hoppy. I can smell the resinous hops as I pour it. It's a very murky yellow, golden, and orange beneath a short head of white foam. It looks like a glass of orange juice. So what hops are in here? Galaxy, Apollo, Citra, and Falconers Flight which is a blend that includes Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, Citra, Cluster, Columbus and Crystal. So how many varieties is that in all? Damn, that's 9 different hops! Wow. OK, let's see how it really smells... it's pungent and resinous with tropical fruits and pine. I'm getting notes of grapefruit, passion fruit, orange, lime, and herbs. On to the flavor... as you might expect it's similar but there's more depth to it. The passion fruit is really strong but there's also guava, mango, lemon zest, berries, apple, pear, some earthiness, and a touch of spiciness that may be from alcohol but I'm not sure; it's only 7.2%. It's pretty intense. The malt is very basic as usual in juicy NEIPAs, and there's a nice balance between the bready sweetness, the flavor and acidity of the hops, and the median bitterness. It's dry, earthy, fruity, and piney in the finish which surprisingly finishes up pretty shortly considering how much hops are there. Nicely done. In the mouth it's medium bodied and gently crisp, no surprises there. I'm gonna call two thumbs up on this one. I have to admit that I initially thought it was going to be a sloppy mess when I saw all of those different hops listed but they pulled it off; there's a great balance to the different flavors. Well worth trying for fans of the style.

16 oz can into stemless wine goblet. Dated 7/9/19.
Look is nice hazy yellow. Smell is tangerine fruit. Taste is nice sweet tropical fruit with a little bite at end. Feel is medium and creamy. Overall a very nice NE style IPA.
