I've enjoyed the Bolero Snort beers I've had before, and their aesthetic is charming and goofy in just the right way. Also, how can I NOT buy a beer with can art that riffs on Keith Haring's aesthetic? It's just... a-moo-sing. Okay, I'll cut it out with the puns right now.
This beer pours a pretty nice, opaque orange-yellowish color with a generous head of bone-white foam that builds up consistently but recedes in a more unusual way, leaving behind a ton of lace and great legs as it slowly seems to dissipate from the center outwards. Small islands of foam are still visible behind the lace show inside my glass, and overall I just think this one looks pretty dang good.
Full disclosure: this beer was canned 10/12/20, which means it's a bit more than two months old, which means I will have to be a bit harsher on it than if I were to have consumed it fresh. It only recently arrived in stock at the store I bought it from (and I ordered the beers online for a pickup so that I wouldn't spend forever browsing), so it's weird that it's this old already, but I'm not really sure who's to blame here. This is hopped with Nelson, Cryo Simcoe, and Amarillo, which is a cool combination. I pick up a bright citrus pith right upfront with backing notes of white wine grape and touches of light florals and grassiness picking up where the fruity elements leave off. Though it's old, it doesn't seem like it's lost too, too much of what probably made it quality in the first place. I can tell it's not in its prime, but it still has a decent aroma to it, so it is what it is.
Flavor is pretty good but nothing too special, unfortunately. I'm sure it has to do with the relative "oldness" of the can, but the hops just don't pop here and the feel is chewy and thick in a way that isn't awesome. I get some notes of melon, ripe mango, and grapefruit peel, but the lack of bitterness in the finish makes it less fun to drink than it might otherwise have been as a fresher beer. The Nelson doesn't have a lot of its characteristic elements here, but I do think the Amarillo picks up a bit of slack, throwing out some nice lemony and orange notes. The malt bill is definitely wheat-heavy with a lot of density to it. Slight apricot and other stone fruit along with a hint of minerality and more floral/grassy notes right before the finish. Unfortunate that this didn't hold up, but I'm throwing it a bone with my ratings because I could see it being great with less than a month on it. Hopefully I can try it fresher soon.

Bolero Snort Brewery "Moodern Art"
16 fl. oz. can. The production coding is illegible. Contract brewed at Wyndridge Farm Brewing in Dallastown, PA.
$4.99 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ
Notes via stream of consciousness: Based on its cloudy golden and brass colored body I'm assuming this is a New England style IPA. The head is only a short cap of off-white foam but it seems to be holding well. The aroma is fairly bright with gooseberry (I know, gooseberry, right? It's from the Nelson Sauvin hops which are very similar to what you'll find in a Sauvignon Blanc. If you're not familiar with actual gooseberry you can find them sometimes in specialty shops or you can buy them canned online). Beyond that it offers citrus, other tropical fruits, a bit of peach, and some melon. On to the flavor... wow, that's bright! Everything found in the aroma comes on even stronger. There's a lot of orange and some lemon to it, and I'm getting more peach and/or nectarine. There's also some pine, and a little bit of pineapple. It's pretty good; it's nice and juicy but not sweet, and really refreshing. This is probably one of the best beers I've had from Bolero Snort. It's got a median bitterness but there's also a slight acidity to it, and some hop burn, that help to keep it completely dry in the finish. In the mouth it's medium bodied leaning towards medium-light, and crisp. As noted, this is a great beer with a lot of character while still remaining very refreshing and highly drinkable. Nicely done!

can to snifter.
LOOK:Pale yellow, touch of haze, small foamy white head with good retention.
AROMA: tropical fruit, pastry dough, big league chew.
TASTE: grapefruit , pineapple, hay, add a llight berry taste in the finish.
FEEL: A Tad thin and carbonation is weak for how light a beer this is. Very smooth and drinkable however.
Pretty good. As expected with these 3 hops which are 3 of my favorite.
