This pillowy and creamy celebratory DIPA was brewed with heaps of oat, a touch of wheat and a gentle good luck kiss of milk sugar. We then lovingly hopped with Bru-1, Sabro and Cryo Citra with more hops than we’ve ever dropped into a beer. Arguably our softest and juiciest beer to date.

On draught at the brewery approximately one week after release. It pours an opaque, dirty tangerine color with a creamy, bright white cap and thick coating of lacing. On the nose there is lemon, pineapple, tangerine, vanilla, and lite floral hops. The taste opens with mild tangerine and lemon courtesy of the Sabro and Cryo Citra hops, with sweet oats, wheat cracker, and lactose. The flavors are delicate and blend very well. It finishes with mild bitterness from the Bru-1 hops. I think the flavor improved as the glass warmed. The mouth feel is plush and pillowy with moderate carbonation, and the 8.5% ABV is deceptive; it drinks easily. Overall, About Bucking Time provides great flavor and mouth feel. Drinking it is a great and appropriate way to celebrate the opening of Bolero Snort's new brewing facility and tasting room.
