a dark brown/black pour with 2 fingers of fluffy tan head, nice amount of lacing left behind. a huge aroma of coffee, dark roasted grains, herbal hops. a wonderfully dark and bitter flavor profile! lots of coffee, fresh vanilla bean, chocolate, lingering bitterness of roasted grains. a refreshing light/medium body beer with a decent amount of carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel.

this is a phenomenal beer and totally unexpected! filled a growler for roughly $6 at joe canal's.. wasn't expecting much, but this was just a really great beer. my 2nd trial of a bolero snort beer, and i am officially a fan.
