Loved this with dinner, when it showed up on the menu! Wish they bottled it.

Pours black with two fingers of fluffy caramel-colored foam. Aroma is roasty, toasty, and bready malts, with a real emphasis on bread. Coffee mixes in with a broad note, not really stretching out into a full cup of coffee aroma. Some chocolate arrives once the beer warms, but it's very mild. Flavor profile is bready, caramely, toasty, and roasty malts, again, with an emphasis on bready malts. Coffee is a little more present here, drinking like a light bodied cup of coffee, but diluted. Coffee starts to become a little more strong as the beer warms, forming a more substantial portion of the flavor profile. A little bit of bakers chocolate adds some sweetness without pushing the sweetness hard. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a fuzzy, near neppy, texture. Effervescence is soft, but sharpens up at the end. Overall, a bready stout with some coffee in the mix. It's easy drinking.

Poured dark cola color with about an inch and a half inch tan head. Left modest lacing. Light aroma, more malt than coffee. Taste followed aroma, pleasant easy drinking. Felt a bit thin compared to other beers of this style. Not a complicated beer, but very enjoyable.

My sniffer is a bit off today (stuffy) so take that in consideration.
Pours black with an ample tan head that lingers and laces nicely. Smells of dark malts and dark fruits. Taste has sweet notes with coffee and tobacco overtones. Aftertaste starts ever so slightly astringent, but mellows to a sweet yeasty flavor. Alcohol is well hidden. Medium to full body. It's a good beer, worth a try.
