Dark amber color with a white head and lacing that goes away fairly fast. Smells liked baked break with some carmel in it. Smooth malty flavor with a medium body and the taste it pretty much like the smell. Pretty good scottish ale

Enjoyed from a growler. This fine Scottish style ale pours a deep amber with a nice thin white head of tight beaded bubbles that dissipates to a thin ring and light lacing. Nose of rich caramel malts and fresh baked sweet bread. Flavors follow the nose with rich malts up front and a mild herbal hop balance to the rear, This is one of the best Scottish style ales I have tried in many years. Malty mildly coating mouth feel and a sweet malty finish. Most excellent.
Cheers to 50 West and Great Lakes for putting out this fine brew.
