Enjoyed from the growler in a Duinen snifter via Growlers not Flowers on Valentines Day! AWW! Thanks Sweetie! This quad pours a mahogany reddish brown with a light off white head of foam that dissipates to a very thin pool and ring with very light lacing. Nose of brown sugar, light nutty almonds, and raisins with a light alcohol background. Flavors follow the nose with brown sugars and dates to the front, light almonds to the back, and raisin-y goodness coming through on the aftertaste. Nice carbonated mouth feel with a light crispness makes this a fine sipper with warming alcohol coming through on the aftertaste with raisins and brown sugars. Let this one warm to taste all the intricacy.
