Thoroughly enjoyed from the growler via Jungle Jim's, a collaboration brew as I was told by the little lady with their beer guru and Fifty West. Poured into a snifter, this fine IPA pours a hazy yellowish amber with a nice head of white dissipating foam that dies down to a thick ring, thin layer, and leaves spotty lacing. Nose of pineapple (with which it is brewed), sticky citrus notes of orange and lemon, and a nice sticky hops aroma---could be citra but unknown with the pineapple in it. Flavors present a slightly over hopped English style IPA with a very nice pineapple note on the middle with bittering hops on the back. Good carbonation keeps the mouth feel lively, solid malt backbone, and a finish that features a lightly bitter aftertaste from hops and pineapple. Very nice and very solid.
A winner.....that from someone who is NOT an IPA guy.
Cheers
