From a growler via Jungle Jim's Fairfield in a snifter. This NICE pale pours
a moderately hazy amber tinged straw color with a fantastic head of white
foam that "rests" to a thick fluffy layer and features nice sticky lacing that
has TRUE staying power. Nose of citrus laden hops of lemon, pink
grapefruit, and sweet floral honey notes touched with wheat and grain notes.
Flavors follow the nose with light additions---rich herbal honey notes flow around
a cascade of citrus notes showcasing pineapple and pink grapefruit mingling with
a touch of lemon zest and nice light grain notes with a touch of pine. Excellent mouth
feel; medium body, medium low carbonation, and a lightly sweet hoppy finish that finishes
lightly dry.
Overall an excellent thirst quencher that is an excellent APA.
Cheers
